Who owns Swan Company?
The Swan brand was acquired by Littlewoods in 2000. In 2017, the brand was bought by Swan Products Ltd and since 2023 has been owned by Sutton Venture Group, operating under that company’s RKW trading division. Swan is a beer brand owned by Lion Nathan. It was originally brewed by the Swan Brewery in Western Australia, but brewing was moved to South Australia in 2013 and to New South Wales in 2021.Lion Nathan is formed when New Zealand’s largest retailer, LD Nathan & Co, merges with brewer, wine and spirit manufacturer and hotel operator, Lion Breweries. Lion Nathan buys a 50 per cent share in Natbrew Holdings, which owned Alan Bond’s brewing assets in Australia – including Castlemaine Tooheys and Swan Brewing.
