Stobo Castle Health Spa, Scotlands only destination spa is a family business owned and managed by the Winyard Family for the past 48 years. Scotland’s only residential destination spa, the renowned Stobo Castle in Peeblesshire, is celebrating 40 years of pampering the nation this month. Reborn from a derelict castle in the heart of the Borders, the luxurious five-star spa resort began as a health farm in 1978.Stobo Castle combines the finest spa facilities in Europe with premier hotel service and adds a personal touch to make Stobo your very own personal haven – So Special… So Stobo.We have a very informal dress code at Stobo. Most of our guest choose to relax in our fluffy, white bathrobes throughout the day, however we do request that guests dress for dinner. Training shoes and suitable clothing must be worn in the gym and exercise studio and swimwear is required for the wet facilities.

Is Stobo Castle worth it?

We’ve just had a wonderful stay at Stobo for 2 nights. Food and spa facilities are excellent, Castle grounds are stunning, and every single member of staff was focussed on making our stay as enjoyable and relaxing as possible. Wonderful 2 night break in beautiful Stobo! Stobo Castle Health Spa. Arrival cocktails in the lounge were a special treat, we loved our room with the 2 large.
