Since our very first Cowshed spa opened at Babington House back in 1998, we’ve championed the use of nature’s finest ingredients, and the therapeutic power of our products and treatments. Soho House founder Nick Jones created the original Cowshed spa at Babington House as a retreat within a retreat, extending the hospitality of the House into wellness and wellbeing for guests.Soho House is a club for creatives. We exist to provide a home for our members to come together and belong, wherever they are in the world. It all began in 1995, when founder Nick Jones opened the first Soho House on London’s Greek Street above his restaurant, Cafe Boheme.
What is a Cowshed spa?
The Cowshed philosophy centres on the therapeutic nature of premium botanical essential oils. The products used in our treatments are all made in England, using a variety of organic ingredients, wildcrafted plant extracts and pure essential oils of the highest quality. Cowshed has evolved into a holistic range of products and treatments, all bound together through our continued use of natural botanicals from sustainable sources containing the highest quality essential oils.With the exception of organic beeswax and wildflower honey there are no animal ingredients in Cowshed products. Cowshed products are never tested on animals.
