Who funds The Ned?
The NED was created as a bipartisan, private, non-profit corporation, but acts as a grant-making foundation. It is funded primarily by an annual allocation from the U. S. Congress. Today, the Ned is an incredibly successful 252-bedroom 5-star hotel providing an extensive food, beverage and amenity offer with nine restaurants, two swimming pools, a health spa and gym, meeting and event spaces and a private members’ club.Then you’re in for a treat. The Ned is one of my favourite places in London, it is the perfect place for a coffee or pot of tea (sorry Starbucks); a glass of wine; a beer or cocktail — depending on the occasion — brunch; lunch; breakfast; and dinner. Does The Ned London serve food? Seven restaurants & three bars sit amidst The Ned London’s historic 3,000 square metre former banking hall and lower ground floor, serving food and drinks from around the world. The Ned London also provides room service for all hotel guests. Ned’s is a separate enterprise from the same owners, with other locations in London, New York, and Doha. The DC outpost’s membership fees are around $5,000 a year.The Ned is privately owned by Ron Burkle who is also the majority shareholder of Soho House & Co Inc. Membership gets you access to the rooftop with its own restaurant, pool, terrace and epic views of St Paul’s Cathedral. The food was undoubtedly better than Soho House and the terrace is around four times the size of Shoreditch House.

Hosted in Millie’s Lounge at the hotel, the buffet takes place every Sunday and offers everything from lobsters to roasts and much more.
