Where is the LIDO Festival in London?
LIDO Festival takes place on the historic Lido Field in Tower Hamlets, East London. As a fan-first festival, we celebrate globally loved artists who take the lead on the event curation, alongside emerging talent, community engagement, and creativity at the heart of East London. The key difference between a swimming pool and a lido is that a pool can be indoors or outdoors, whereas a lido is always outdoors. In many cases, a lido is located next to an outdoor body of water like a beach, and it will have additional facilities like saunas and sunbathing areas.Lidos are public outdoor swimming pools that people can visit for fitness or relaxation. From casual sessions to swimming lessons, there’s something for everyone to enjoy across our lidos.London Fields Lido is a 50m Olympic size, heated outdoor swimming pool open all year round and located in Hackney, central London.Many of Lido Key’s beaches are private, but there are several more public beaches and parks for you to enjoy. South Lido Nature Park is ideal for all nature lovers, where you can kayak, paddle board, fish, sail, bird watch, and more.

Is the LIDO Festival any good?
This wasn’t just an experimental gimmick; it felt like a prototype for a better kind of festival: less destructive, more conscious, and no less spectacular. It’s rare to see a music festival both sonically satisfied and intellectually rattled. Most festivals seek to escape the world; LIDO dared to look it in the eye. Is Venice Lido worth visiting? The answer is: certainly yes! As you see, Venice Lido is not just a place to go sunbathing in summer, but an island full of things to do, including a long and relaxing walk along Viale Santa Maria Elisabetta, a street that crosses the island from the vaporetto stop to the beaches.Stay on the Lido of Venice, the only island in the lagoon where cars are allowed. While Venice’s historic center is completely pedestrian, the Lido is easily accessible by car and offers roads, parking areas, and all the necessary services for a comfortable stay.The Lido Beach community was named after Venice Lido in Italy; lido means beach in Italian.The Lido, luxury hotels excepted, is generally cheaper than Venice, with especially good deals if you avoid the peak summer months.
