All of our bath and beauty products are made in England with ingredients that are fairly-traded using only the purest essential oils. We encourage you to choose your favourite range depending on what mood you’re in as our unique essential oil blends have been expertly created to boost your mind, spirit and well-being. Our products contain amazing natural origin ingredients like the aloe vera in our Original range. We combine these with carefully selected, man-made ingredients to offer superb performance at an affordable price. We make most of our products here in the UK, in factories run by people we know and trust.

When did cowshed start?

Cowshed started with a simple mission: to inject a little country calm into people’s busy lives. The very first Cowshed spa opened alongside Babington House in Somerset in 1998. The brand’s story started in the Walled Garden, which is where the ingredients of its essential oil blends were grown. Cowshed is the perfect place to indulge in some pre or post pregnancy pampering with our specialised products and treatments. These treatments are designed for clients that are 12 weeks pregnant or more, no treatments can be given in the first trimester.

In this battle, he returns with allies to reclaim his farm; however, the animals are victorious through a three-fold counter-attack ending in the cowshed. The animals, led by Snowball the pig, are victorious in warding off the humans, only to succumb later to a new dictator in animal form.In October, Jones and a group of men arrive at Animal Farm and attempt to seize control of it. Snowball turns out to be an extraordinary tactician and, with the help of the other animals, drives Jones and his men away. The animals then celebrate their victory in what they call The Battle of the Cowshed.

Is Cowshed organic?

With the exception of organic beeswax and wildflower honey there are no animal ingredients in cowshed products.

Who is the founder of Cowshed?

Soho House founder Nick Jones created the original Cowshed spa at Babington House as a retreat within a retreat, extending the hospitality of the House into wellness and wellbeing for guests. An old cowshed in rural Somerset might seem an unlikely place for a luxury spa, but over 25 years ago it became an integral part of the now iconic Babington House, the first Soho House club to open outside of London.
