Cowshed started with a simple mission: to inject a little country calm into people’s busy lives. The very first Cowshed spa opened alongside Babington House in Somerset in 1998. The brand’s story started in the Walled Garden, which is where the ingredients of its essential oil blends were grown. An old cowshed might seem an unlikely place for a spa and range of natural products to be born, but the original Cowshed spa was created at Babington House as a retreat within a retreat, extending the hospitality of the House into wellness and wellbeing for guests.Cowshed is a range of cheekily named stylish natural therapeutic products. They are addictively indulgent using the highest quality ingredients but there are some serious policies behind the fun. Every effort is made to ensure that Cowshed ingredients are sourced ethically.Inspired by our original Cowshed Spa at Babington House in Somerset, we offer restorative treatments in a sociable space where you can relax and unwind.Cowshed is the perfect place to indulge in some pre or post pregnancy pampering with our specialised products and treatments. These treatments are designed for clients that are 12 weeks pregnant or more, no treatments can be given in the first trimester.

With the exception of organic beeswax and wildflower honey there are no animal ingredients in cowshed products.What makes Cowshed so special?
