What is the status on Delta?
Medallion status benefits each of our 4 medallion tiers — diamond, platinum, gold, and silver — delivers an added level of service, exclusivity and rewards offered only by delta that elevate your journey at every turn. You earn delta medallion status by earning enough medallion qualification dollars (mqds) for each tier. In delta’s status universe, you can’t game the system by taking several long, cheap flights (as you can on alaska airlines) because you’ll need to reach the minimum number of mqds for each tier.
How do you know if your Delta flight is canceled?

If you’re not at a hub airport you can be pretty darn sure that that one plane is your plane no matter what. I use flightradar24.
