Researchers from sweden’s karolinska institutet and the university of oxford conducted an international study to uncover if there’s a universal “best” smell, and surprisingly, they found that the answer is… vanilla! Vanilla is a universally popular scent that both men and women wear. There is something seductive and playful about the sweet smell. The vanilla aroma is comforting and attractive at the same time. In one study in 2017, researchers presented almost 400 participants with 66 odors at two different concentrations.
