What is the most beautiful village in East Sussex?
Alfriston is one of the most beautiful sussex villages on the south downs way. This small east sussex village is one of my favourites for countryside walks, cosy pubs with ghostly tales and quaint tea rooms. There’s an exceptional vineyard nearby and it all sits within the rolling hills of the beautiful south downs. Eastbourne is among the most popular seaside towns in sussex – and for good reason. It’s the entryway to the south downs national park, where you’ll discover ancient villas amidst glorious rolling hills.Two spots in Sussex have been named among the UK’s poshest seaside villages for 2024. West Wittering and West Itchenor were featured alongside eight others in a list from The Telegraph.
Is Eastbourne or Brighton nicer?
As a general rule of thumb, Brighton is considered the ‘younger’ town with more attractions and a livelier nightlife. Eastbourne is quieter and not as bustling yet has beautiful beaches only a stone’s throw away and is becoming much more up-and-coming. Meads is often regarded as one of the best areas to live in Eastbourne. Known for its stunning scenic views and proximity to the seafront, Meads is a highly sought-after neighbourhood.
