There may be a steam room, sauna, or pool that are also available for use during your visit. Day spas are geared toward comfort, and every need will be addressed while you are there. A Spa Party is essentially a few therapists on-site to provide massages, facials, body treatments, manis pedis, etc. These are usually priced for your budget and we design the day for you according to treatments and schedule.In this context, here are some common things that happen in a spa: massages: many spas offer massages, which involve a trained therapist using their hands, fingers, and sometimes other tools to manipulate the muscles and soft tissues of the body. Massages can help relieve tension and promote relaxation.A spa bath is a spa treatment that usually takes place in a private treatment room, and will be just for you, or for you and your partner. The bathing experience will certainly feel more luxurious than your one at home.These are private rooms in which you can enjoy a selection of pampering spa treatments, such as massages and facials. Many of our spa packages feature treatments, which will take place in one of these rooms.Nobody else will ever be using any area of the spa during your spa time. All areas of the spa including the spa garden are completely private for you and not overlooked. This includes the changing area, swimming pool, thermal spa area, spa garden, relaxation lounge and chillout lounge with refreshment area.
What do you wear at a spa?
Most spas want you to be comfortable and relaxed, so arrive wearing loose, comfortable clothing like gym clothes, yoga pants and t-shirts. Once you are changed, you’ll be spending most of your time in a robe anyway! Spas want their guests to be as comfortable as possible, so if you would prefer to arrive in non-restrictive garments, such as gym wear or lounge wear then that will be absolutely fine. After this, you will change and spend most of your time in a robe anyway.Underwear: Most spas provide robes and towels, but you’ll still want to wear underwear underneath. Opt for comfortable, breathable options like sports bras and briefs.For massages and body treatments, ideally you disrobe completely (that means underwear, too). Most spas offer paper panties to wear during body treatments (like scrubs, wraps, or self-tanning)—they don’t cover much, but enough to provide a modicum of modesty.Wear Comfortable Undergarments Choose a supportive bra that allows for easy movement and doesn’t dig into your skin. Wearing the right undergarments will ensure that you feel comfortable and confident throughout your spa experience.
Do you wear make-up to a spa?
You definitely do not need to wear makeup to the spa. In fact, we recommend you take this opportunity to let your skin breathe and your natural beauty shine through! It is best to not wear makeup in the facilities, so we recommend you remove it beforehand. Visitors are expected to cover up using a robe/dressing gown between treatments and when in the spa’s public areas and must wear swimwear while enjoying the venue’s Jacuzzi and steam room facilities.Swimwear & Clothing Towel and robe are included in the cost of a Thermae Welcome, treatment, and Spa Package. Swimwear should be worn in all public areas. We do not provide footwear and advise that you bring your own for use around the Spa.
