The bathing experience will certainly feel more luxurious than your one at home.These are private rooms in which you can enjoy a selection of pampering spa treatments, such as massages and facials. Many of our spa packages feature treatments, which will take place in one of these rooms.Bathhouses are communal spaces with a focus on traditional public bathing practices. Visitors can enjoy steam baths, saunas, and shared pools, emphasizing social interaction and collective relaxation. In contrast, spas often focus on individual pampering and personalized treatments.Destination Spa Destination spas are designed for complete mind and body rejuvenation. Unlike day spas, these types of spas are often located in scenic locations, allowing guests to stay for several days and fully immerse themselves in a wellness-focused environment.

Swimwear should be worn in all public areas. We do not provide footwear and advise that you bring your own for use around the Spa. Please note that we also have slippers for sale.It’s worth taking a spare swimsuit so you have a dry one to change into. If you’re just having a spa treatment, you could wear your usual underwear; your spa therapist will tell you if you need to remove anything so the creams and lotions reach all the right bits.

Footwear: Easy-to-remove shoes or flip-flops are handy.Dress comfortably Our soft, cosy robes are perfect for snuggling on a lounger, but when the weather is warmer you may prefer to bring a cover-up or t-shirt to slip on when you are dining.For massages and body treatments, ideally you disrobe completely (that means underwear, too). Most spas offer paper panties to wear during body treatments (like scrubs, wraps, or self-tanning)—they don’t cover much, but enough to provide a modicum of modesty.The first thing to note is that spas want their guests to be as comfortable as possible, so non-restrictive garments (such as yoga bottoms, lounge pants, T-shirts, sweatshirts and hoodies) are encouraged at most resorts.

Do you wear make-up to a spa?

You definitely do not need to wear makeup to the spa. In fact, we recommend you take this opportunity to let your skin breathe and your natural beauty shine through! It is best to not wear makeup in the facilities, so we recommend you remove it beforehand. You will then put everything away in your locker and change into the shirt and short provided. To enter the spa and sauna on the gender-segregated floors, we ask that no clothing be worn. Bathing suits are not allowed in the spas. Please shower before entering the tubs.Visitors are expected to cover up using a robe/dressing gown between treatments and when in the spa’s public areas and must wear swimwear while enjoying the venue’s Jacuzzi and steam room facilities.
