What do you wear to Bannatynes spa day?
What should I wear? Therapists are trained to respect client’s modesty at all times; for facials we recommend you remove your upper body clothing; for massages please leave underwear on. You will be covered by a towel throughout the treatment. If you are having a spray tan please wear loose dark clothing. TIPS FOR TALKING OFF CLOTHES FOR A MASSAGE Always leave your underwear on. Women should wear a bra and briefs / pants, while men should wear briefs / boxer shorts – imagine what you would wear to the beach. If you’re feeling uncomfortable taking your clothes off, talk to your massage therapist. It’s up to you. Women usually remove their bras to allow the massage therapist to work on the back and shoulder area without getting massage oil or lotion on the bra. If your problem area is your low back, hips, buttocks, or groin, tight-fitting or large underwear can sometimes get in the way of massage work.Removing too much clothing can create an uncomfortable situation for both you and your massage therapist. Another important thing to avoid during a massage is making noises. Sometimes when massages feel very good, or very intense, we start to make noises unknowingly. Some people prefer to keep their underwear on during the treatment, which is totally fine. If you’re wearing a bra, it would probably be beneficial to remove this so the therapist can work on your back properly. What should I wear? What is the age limit for a spa?
As with facials, there’s no specific age restriction on having a massage, but generally spas don’t offer treatments other than simple manicures and pedicures to children under the age of 16 years old. On balance however, spas themselves do not tend to permit children under the age of 16. In all cases, children and teenagers must be accompanied by an adult. What it boils down to is a combination of individual spa destination protocols, safety, consideration for others and personal choice.Spa age policies vary significantly depending on the facility and treatment type. Most traditional spas restrict access to saunas, steam rooms, and thermal pools to guests over 16 or 18, primarily for safety reasons related to heat exposure and developing bodies’ different temperature regulation systems.
