Who built Keswick Hall?
Keswick Hall was originally a private home and was built in 1912 for Mr. Mrs. Robert Crawford by a local architect, Eugene Bradbury. Keswick Hall was built in 1912 as an Italianate home, and it remained a private estate for many years. Later it was transformed into a regional country club.Keswick Hall owner Molly Hardie is leading the development project of the home located in Keswick, VA, which will be open to the public for tours later in 2025.

Why did Keswick Spa close?
Back in 2021, Allerdale Borough Council announced that Keswick Pool would close permanently due to significant maintenance and repair costs. According to the UK’s Pool Water Treatment Advisory Group, 65 pools had closed, either temporarily or permanently, in the UK in the three years up to March 2022. The closures are for various reasons, including increased energy costs, staff shortages, and lack of chlorine availability.
