It’s an entirely separate kingdom in Venetian, since it has to serve 7,000 rooms, sometimes multiple times. It shouldn’t take one more than 5 minutes walking from center Palazzo casino floor to Venetian poker room if you walk at a moderate or even moderately brisk place directly w/o stopping to sightsee along the way. Slow walkers and not navigating through groups that walk leisurely may add some time to your walk.The Venetian is located mid-Strip. You won’t have to pay to go in and walk around, but the on-site attractions will cost you.The Palazzo is further up the strip next to the Wynn, and the casino floor is generally less busy than the Venetian side. In-between you have restaurant row (some restaurants), about a 2 or 3 minute walk. Unless you’re looking for something specific, the differences are negligible.The most memorable thing about the Venetian is the huge array of restaurants, and the fact that everything you need can be found inside the hotel. More than even Caesars, this is an entire city in a hotel and it functions like one. It’s great for people who want to go to Vegas and plant themselves in one place.
