When did Cowshed start?
Cowshed started with a simple mission: to inject a little country calm into people’s busy lives. The very first Cowshed spa opened alongside Babington House in Somerset in 1998. The brand’s story started in the Walled Garden, which is where the ingredients of its essential oil blends were grown. Cowshed is the perfect place to indulge in some pre or post pregnancy pampering with our specialised products and treatments. These treatments are designed for clients that are 12 weeks pregnant or more, no treatments can be given in the first trimester.

Cowshed has evolved into a holistic range of products and treatments, all bound together through our continued use of natural botanicals from sustainable sources containing the highest quality essential oils. They avoid the use preservatives and synthetics, and all of its products are plant-based with naturally derived ingredients. All Cowshed products are free from Parabens, Petrochemicals, Sulphaptes, PEGs, artificial colours or fragrances, Phthalates, Triclosan, GMOs, Animal ingredients and animal testing.Cowshed has evolved into a holistic range of products and treatments, all bound together through our continued use of natural botanicals from sustainable sources containing the highest quality essential oils.With the exception of organic beeswax and wildflower honey there are no animal ingredients in Cowshed products. Cowshed products are never tested on animals.
