The food was undoubtedly better than Soho House and the terrace is around four times the size of Shoreditch House.

The US retail billionaire Ron Burkle’s investment vehicle Yucaipa is Soho House’s biggest shareholder, and together Burkle, the restaurateur Richard Caring and Jones own more than 70% of the shares.

What bank used to be The Ned?
Created in 2017, The Ned originated in the former Midland Bank headquarters, designed by Sir Edwin ‘Ned’ Lutyens in 1924. When Nick Jones, the founder of Soho House & Co Inc. City’s disused building in 2012, he fell in love. Ron Burkle, who owns Ned’s Club’s umbrella organization called The Ned, is the majority shareholder of Soho House & Co Inc. Soho House also collaborated with Stonehill Taylor to design the Ned’s Club location in Washington, DC.Then you’re in for a treat. The Ned is one of my favourite places in London, it is the perfect place for a coffee or pot of tea (sorry Starbucks); a glass of wine; a beer or cocktail — depending on the occasion — brunch; lunch; breakfast; and dinner.
