When did Emerald Park open?
The park opened as Tayto Park in November 2010 following an investment of 8. The park was renamed for the 2023 season as Emerald Park after the owner’s previous contract to use the Tayto brand was not renewed. The park formally known as Tayto is rebranding and opens on March 25. It is changing its name to Emerald Park as the Tayto sponsorship deal reached the end of its partnership. Emerald Park’s name was inspired by Ireland’s ‘Emerald Isle’ nickname as well as Co Meath’s lush green countryside.Emerald Park was the vision of founder Raymond Coyle and his son Charles now continues his father’s legacy. The long-term ambition is to make the County Meath park one of the best family attractions in Europe. Spring 2024 will see a new area of the park called TÃr na nÓg, which will be based on Celtic mythology.
What time should I get to Emerald Bay?
Parking at Emerald Bay State Park Spaces fill quickly in summer and on weekends, so arrive early—ideally before 9 a. Limited Parking: From mid-May to September, parking at Emerald Lake is limited and fills quickly. Park in designated parking areas only and come prepared with a backup plan if your destination is full.
