How do I share my Basic Fit membership?
Invite your friend to the gym If you want to train together, you can invite your friend via your profile page in the app or via ‘Sports Together’ in My Basic-Fit. With the QR code that your friend receives by e-mail from us, he/she can join a Basic-Fit club after you. To invite your buddy, head to the ‘My Gym’ section of your Member’s Area and select the share button, or head to the Account page on the app, select ‘Bring a Buddy’ and then invite them.Bring a friend 4 times a month Add a friend to your membership and make workouts more fun by training together at your home gym.
Can I still go to the gym if I freeze my membership?
When your membership is frozen your monthly payments are paused and your access to the gym is temporarily suspended. Your freeze will start and end on your regular monthly Direct Debit date. Some (but not all) gyms provide a refund if you cancel your membership early. If this is the case for your gym, be sure to request a refund according to your gym’s contract or policies. Keep records.Considerations when canceling a gym membership for this to happen, however, the company to whom you owe the money has to report it to the credit reporting agency. This might happen in the case of a gym membership if you agreed to pay membership fees and then stopped paying them for no good reason.
