Soho House members and Soho Friends can book bedrooms at reduced rates. If you’re not a member, you’ll need to join Soho Friends to complete your booking.To stay at Soho Farmhouse, you need to have a Soho House or Soho Friends membership. Can you bring guests with Soho Friends?
You can invite a guest(s) to stay with you in the room, provided that at all times the number of guests does not exceed the occupancy capacity for that room. While staying in our bedrooms, you may also invite three guests with you into the House at which you are staying (excluding any bookings at Soho Farmhouse). Members are permitted to bring up to three guests with them to the Houses at any one time, although please be aware that during very busy times we may have to restrict member/guest access to certain areas of the House. A member’s guests may not enter the House without that member being present.
How is Soho Friends different from Soho Works?
Soho Friends is not club access. It’s a travel and lifestyle program with bedroom discounts and perks (late checkout, upgrades, spa and retail savings). You can only access a House if you are staying in a bedroom on that stay. The price of each varies based on location; at the new Portland Soho House annual local membership is $1,950 and the Every House membership will run you $4,500, while those with a home base Soho House in New York will spend $2,850 for access to just that Soho House and $5,200 for access to all Soho Houses.Soho House offers several membership tiers, each with its own pricing and benefits. What was the downfall of Soho House?
The club’s finances and image struggled, and other clubs popped up. Soho House continued to expand, but its stock fell during its time as a public company. Despite reporting profits in the second quarter of 2025, it lost money most of the time. Perhaps most damaging was Soho House’s clash with New York-based short seller GlassHouse, which published a damning criticism of the company’s “broken business model and terrible accounting”. Bosses said the report included “factual inaccuracies, analytical errors and false and misleading statements”.The GlassHouse report called out Soho House for alleged poor accounting measures, climbing debt and financial shortfalls. Those claims ricocheted throughout the finance world and then on to the very members who pay thousands of dollars every year in dues.
