Is London Fields Lido good?
To my delight, the pool has been beautifully restored, it was clean and well maintained, with a very efficient girl on the front desk which is always a bonus. Plenty of lockers, 50ft laned pool, plenty of staff and life guards and very ordered swimming. There’s not a platform for diving, tables, laying out or even standing around the edge of the pool to take in the spectacular city views. There is, however, a rotating spiral staircase modeled after the door of a submarine that rises from the pool floor and allows people to come and go as they please.
