If you’re going to the baths, you need to remove all your clothing, bringing only a small towel and toiletries with you (wear your locker key on your wrist). If you’re going to the sauna, change into the pajamas provided. The cardinal rule here is that you need to wash before getting into the baths. For sanitary purposes, we ask that all guests who want to use our facility to wear the uniform we provide (cotton t-shirts & cotton shorts), this includes wearing them in the dry saunas as well. They are washed with fragrance free and gentle detergent.
What should I wear to a Korean spa?
In your specific gender level, additional towels, bathrobes, and shorts are provided. You will then store your belongings in your locker and change into the shirt and shorts provided. A Korean spa is not for the modest. To enter the spa and sauna on gender segregated floors, we ask that no clothing be worn. Most spas will provide you with a robe to wear while spending your day relaxing at the spa. Robes are great because they allow you to feel warm and comfortable at the same time! In addition, some treatments, such as hot soaks, sauna rooms, and so on, may require you to wear a bathing suit.For private hot tubs, wear comfortable and functional swimwear of your choice. Public and communal spas often require swimwear that aligns with hygiene guidelines—this means no non-swimwear clothing or heavily decorated garments.Take It All Off (Or Don’t) For massages and body treatments, ideally you disrobe completely (that means underwear, too). Most spas offer paper panties to wear during body treatments (like scrubs, wraps, or self-tanning)—they don’t cover much, but enough to provide a modicum of modesty.King Spa provides spa uniforms during your visit. Outside clothing is prohibited inside our spa and nudity is required in our gender-segregated bathhouse/shower area. Swimsuits made of polyester, nylon or spandex are allowed in the Bade Pools and outdoor jacuzzis.
