Can you just walk in Sky Garden?

Obviously the Sky Garden does not sit at such a high altitude as the Shard, however make no mistake , the Sky Garden has the better vantage point and better view of London , both myself and my girlfriend noticed this.Located on the 58th floor of 22 Bishopsgate — the second tallest building in London/the UK after The Shard — Horizon 22 will offer vistas of London (including The Shard itself) from 254 metres up, seven days a week. The viewing gallery opens on 27 September 2023, with booking from 20 September.Visiting the viewing platform of The Shard in London is definitely worth it! Standing on the 72nd floor, you can take in the entire London skyline, with landmarks clearly visible in the distance. The staff are also very attentive. When we couldn’t find seats, someone helped us arrange them within ten minutes.

Sunset is the best time to visit sky garden. While the sky garden is impressive at any time of day, sunset offers a breathtaking transition from day to night. You’ll get both golden hour photos and a chance to see the city lights sparkle after dark. The sky garden is free and open every day, but visits must be booked in advance and spaces become available up to three weeks in advance.Once in the sky garden you could spend 20mins to an hour or more up there depending on what you find interesting or not! We went today, lined up 15mins before ticket time, moved quick. Security check then lift, VERY SMOOTH RIDE. Had photos and a look.
