Can I swim at London Aquatics Centre?

Do you have to pay to swim in Hampstead Ponds?
Swimming tickets and prices for Hampstead Heath’s Bathing Ponds and Parliament Hill Lido. All tickets are pay on entry during non-bookable sessions. Bookable sessions take pace only in the summer months from towards the end of May to early September. Swimming in Hampstead Heath’s Ponds All the ponds are lifeguarded. Children aged 8-15 must be accompanied by an adult. Younger children can swim at the Lido or paddle at the paddling pool, which is open during the summer.
Is it legal to swim in the Thames in London?
There are handful of sites used for swimming on the Thames in west London like beyond Teddington lock where it is non-tidal. But it isn’t permitted to swim in the tidal Thames where there are strong currents and it is a busy shipping lane. As the Thames is tidal, its waters are ‘brackish’ – a mixture of fresh and saltwater. Drinking untreated Thames river water is unsafe, although historically it has been used for many domestic and industrial purposes including cooking, brewing and generating power.
