No matter your swimming preferences, whether it’s leisurely laps, water play, or the exhilaration of competitive swimming, our Olympic pool offers an extraordinary experience for everyone. Olympic swimming pools must be between 25°C and 28°C (or 77°F and 82. F). This temperature allows athletes to exert themselves without overheating and allows them to better regulate their body temperature. In addition, this temperature helps prevent dehydration, which could hinder the swimmers’ performance.The regulations of Olympic swim pools ensure consistency and fairness, with temperatures ranging between 25-28 degrees Celsius (77 to 82 degrees Fahrenheit).

This iconic venue is one of the most technologically advanced swimming facilities in the world, with two 50m pools, as well as a dedicated dive pool with diving platforms from 1m to 10m and a dry diving area for practice. Swimming pools are located at Britannia Leisure Centre, Clissold Leisure Centre, Kings Hall Leisure Centre and London Fields Lido. Swimming is included in pre-paid membership, or: Non Member – adult: £5. Pay As You Go Member – adult: £3.

The cheapest outdoor swimming in London are the 3 Hampstead Heath ponds (under £5), followed by the Serpentine Lido, Hillingdon Lido and London Fields lido (£6 or under). Swimming tickets and prices for Hampstead Heath’s Bathing Ponds and Parliament Hill Lido. All tickets are pay on entry during non-bookable sessions. Bookable sessions take pace only in the summer months from towards the end of May to early September.
