All fitness classes are complimentary within your membership and classes vary depending on club. You can book classes up to three days in advance using our online member portal or via the Bannatyne App. All our classes are completely free and open to everyone – from beginners to advanced levels. Can you negotiate a gym membership?
Negotiation isn’t just for big purchases; it can also work for gym memberships. Talk to the gym’s sales representative and see if they can offer you a better deal. They may be willing to waive the initiation fee, reduce the monthly rate, or provide additional perks to attract your membership. Whereas gym memberships with an annual fee lock you into their terms for a full year, a month-to-month contract allows you to suspend or cancel your membership whenever you need. If you plan on moving or traveling, this flexibility could save you hundreds of dollars over the duration of your gym membership.Rolling monthly memberships Often marketed as ‘no contract’. These gym memberships let members cancel with no or short notice. Members typically pay by Direct Debit or recurring card payment. Members will still sign up to a short-term contract or agreement with terms and condition.You’ll need to provide a cancellation letter to your gym whenever you want to end your membership agreement before the minimum contract period is over. Most gyms have initial membership terms of 6 months to a year. After the commitment period ends, you may be able to cancel more easily by giving 30 days’ notice.Many gyms have specific requirements for how and when we can cancel our membership, and failing to adhere to these can lead to ongoing charges.Your gym should let you cancel your contract if you’ve had a change in circumstances that means you can’t afford the monthly payments.
