How do I get into London’s infinity pool?
Compass Pools’ website says that swimmers would use a spiral staircase “based on the door of a submarine” that rises from the pool’s floor. Alex Kemsley, a pool designer and technical director for Compass Pools, said the staircase would work like “a tube in a tube”. The top step of the spiral staircase is roughly water level so once you’re at the top, you just have to hop over the edge of the tube and into the pool — there’ll also be an option to climb down some indentations in the outer tube if you prefer to enter the pool more gently.
