What to wear at Ste Anne’s spa?

Spa attire is a fluffy robe and slippers or sandals. Both are available from Guest Services. Ste. Anne’s Spa is a non-smoking property. Most spas want you to be comfortable and relaxed, so arrive wearing loose, comfortable clothing like gym clothes, yoga pants and t-shirts. Once you are changed, you’ll be spending most of your time in a robe anyway! If it’s comfortable, most people remove all their clothes except underwear or swimwear. These clothes should fit well and not restrict movement during the session. Your therapist may remove some clothing depending on the massage technique. For afull body massage, most people undress to theirunderwear or go nude, depending on theircomfort level, and themassage therapist keeps you covered with a drape. Arrive inloose-fitting clothing to easily slip off before relaxing on themassage table at the spa.Do feel free to ask what you should take off and leave on, as Spas can vary in their policies. Generally if they provide a Robe, it’s safe to say they expect you to disrobe. So why get naked (or nearly naked) for a Facial? Mainly it’s to increase your own comfort level and therefore your enjoyment of the Facial.Take It All Off (Or Don’t) For massages and body treatments, ideally you disrobe completely (that means underwear, too). Most spas offer paper panties to wear during body treatments (like scrubs, wraps, or self-tanning)—they don’t cover much, but enough to provide a modicum of modesty.
