What do you use first in a spa?
The best way to ensure safety for yourself, your guests, and the hot tub is to use a pH increaser, pH decreaser, metal removal (if using bore water), calcium hardness and a form of sanitiser when starting your hot tub for the first time. This can be done by adding 60g of chlorine granules per 1,500 litres of water to start the sanitation process and allowing the level to drop to 3-5mg/l (mg per litre) before using your spa. To dose your hot tub ready for use, we advise using chlorine or bromine granules.
How to give your mom a spa day at home?
Get supplies such as bath salts/shower bombs, candle(s), her favorite fresh flowers. Plan to play her favorite music. Lay out her most comfortable Sweats/PJ’s, Robe & Slippers. Run a hot bath or start a shower for Mom promising her no interruptions for as long as she wants to indulge. Mid-Day Relaxation Ideas Think warm bubble baths, calming candles, soothing music, and maybe even a fluffy robe waiting afterward. If you’re feeling fancy, create DIY face masks or purchase a spa gift set beforehand. Dads’ Role: Prepare everything ahead of time so mom doesn’t have to lift a finger.
What makes a good day spa?
It should have a positive atmosphere: Spas should look and smell good, be comfortable and peaceful. The main goal of a spa is to make users feel more relaxed. If you’re not feeling relaxed within the spa setting, it’s probably not a good spa. Modern spas focus on engaging all five senses to create a holistic experience. This includes incorporating soundscapes, aromatherapy, and tactile elements in treatment rooms and relaxation areas. These design choices aim to immerse guests in a calming atmosphere that promotes mindfulness and relaxation.Spa therapists are trained professionals who possess the knowledge and skills to offer a range of treatments, including those around skincare and massage. They create an ambiance of tranquility and serenity, helping clients escape the daily stresses of life and embark on a journey of relaxation and self-care.
What not to do before a spa day?
Have light meals before your spa day to keep comfortable during treatments. If opting for exfoliation, skip shaving 24 hours before to avoid skin irritation. To maximize aromatherapy benefits, skip using perfumes beforehand. Leave your jewelry at home to prevent misplacement during your spa experience. The most common spa treatments are massages, manicures/pedicures and facials. However, you might also see offered such treatments as a body scrub/exfoliation, a fingers or toes file & polish (like a mini manicure or pedicure) or a scalp massage.
