Who owns Windermere Manor Hotel?
In December 2017, Starboard Hotels took its first venture into independent hospitality, acquiring the Windermere Manor Hotel, a magnificent property at the heart of the Lake District National Park, from Vision Hotels. Starboard subsequently completed the purchase of the Cliffden Hotel, Teignmouth in April 2018. The grand, English Heritage-listed Windermere Hotel was the first hotel to open in Windermere on the 12th May 1847! The hotel is perfectly located on the edge of the village and only a few hundred metres from the lake.
