Do I wear a bathing suit to a spa?
Even if you are only thinking of getting beauty treatments, you might want to consider taking a comfortable swimsuit with you. Some people are comfortable wearing regular underwear beneath their robe while lounging around at the spa, but if you’re not, definitely pack your favorite swimsuit to wear underneath. Choose a roomy one; you don’t want restrictive clothing during a massage. If you do go bare, just know that you won’t feel exposed. Spa therapists learn how to drape with towels and sheets as part of their professional training.For massages and body treatments, ideally you disrobe completely (that means underwear, too). Most spas offer paper panties to wear during body treatments (like scrubs, wraps, or self-tanning)—they don’t cover much, but enough to provide a modicum of modesty.Most people dress down to their underwear for the first time, while others are completely fine being naked under the massage blanket. A massage is all about your comfort, so do what feels right for you and your body. Rest assured that your massage therapist will keep your body covered up the entire time.
What does a woman wear to a spa day?
There are no hard and fast rules when it comes to what to wear on your spa day. We would recommend remaining in your swimsuit, swim shorts or bikini with our robe over the top, but you could also dress in relaxed-fit clothes in-between dips in the indoor infinity pool or our indulgent outdoor hydrotherapy pool. As the name suggests, a spa day is a day (or half-day) of relaxing and enjoyment. Everyone will have their own style of relaxation, their own preferences and their own needs. For some it will simply be about lounging in a hot tub or sauna. For others it will involve a full body massage, head massage or both.Nobody else will ever be using any area of the spa during your spa time. All areas of the spa including the spa garden are completely private for you and not overlooked. This includes the changing area, swimming pool, thermal spa area, spa garden, relaxation lounge and chillout lounge with refreshment area.
