Is the York Castle Museum worth visiting?
A museum based on streets showing life through the ages, well worth a visit on rainy yorkshire day as it is all indoors. I would recommend looking for online vouchers and book in advance as it is quite pricey for a visit which takes around 2 hours. The price is the only reason for the 4 star review. Saturday saw us visit the renowned york castle museum in the city centre which frankly, blew us all away. It truly is a world class museum you need to add to your must-visit destinations in yorkshire, immediately!
