Your tour will last around 70 minutes, and the York Dungeon is fully air conditioned during warmer weather periods, and heated during spells of colder temperatures. The York Dungeon brings together an amazing cast of theatrical actors, special effects, stages and scenes.

See, hear, smell and feel York’s stories come to life before your eyes as frighteningly funny characters transport you through time. Surprises await you at The Dungeon. Due to the nature of the attraction, The York Dungeon is not recommended to children under 8 years old. Entry is at the discretion of a parent or guardian. Many children enter The York Dungeon and enjoy the experience, but please be aware it does get very dark inside the building and there are lots of loud noises.
