Grassington is worth considering; Richmond and Leyburn too. Reeth is small village and in a lovely areas of Swaledale. Aysgarth would be a good choice too. Grassington. Grassington is just gorgeous, it’s the biggest village in Wharfedale and we thought the prettiest of all the Yorkshire Dales villages we visited. It’s really nice because it’s like stepping back in time with all the cobbled streets and the old stone houses and shops.
