How many hot springs are in Tabacon?
Tabacón Hot Springs Tabacón has five different springs, the temperatures differ from 77 F (25 C) to 122 F (50 C). The thermal river that flows through the resort is heated by the still active Arenal Volcano. The resort has a cold river as well, go here to change temperatures (very good for the body and skin). The River Tabacon feeds into waterfalls and warm pools lined with soft, black sand and guests staying at Tabacon will enjoy full use of the thermal Tabacon hot springs. The water is heated by the volcano and the temperature in the pools ranges between 72 and 105 degrees Fahrenheit.

What to wear to tabacon hot springs?
To properly enjoy the pools, we recommend wearing bathing suits and water shoes, as areas can be slippery. Enjoy the natural hot springs with caution, keep your head above water, do not dive or splash. We recommend that you wait at least one hour after eating before entering the hot springs.
