How much does it cost to go to Hot Springs Park?
Hot Springs National Park is a fee-free park! There is no entrance fee nor are there any additional charges for the park’s brochure, junior ranger program, or ranger-led tours. The park does have certain America the Beautiful Passes available at the Fordyce Bathhouse. The city of Hot Springs maintains a large parking garage at 128 Exchange Street (one block west of the Hot Springs National Park visitor center). What not to do at hot springs?
The pools are for soaking. Do not horseplay, wrestle, or dive in the pools. Keep your head above water to avoid inadvertently inhaling water and the algae present in all natural hot springs. Wear proper swim attire. No street clothes, underwear, pajamas, sweats or anything deemed inappropriate as swimwear by staff is allowed in the pools. What to wear in Murrieta Hot Springs?
Pack your swimsuit, a couple of towels, flip-flops, and a water bottle to stay hydrated throughout your visit. Don’t forget sunscreen, sunglasses and a hat! You might want to bring a cozy robe or cover-up for moving between pools. What should I bring when I arrive for the day pass? It’s recommended to bring flip flops, sunscreen, a water bottle, sunglass and a hat. You may bring a towel as well (two are included in a day pass). Don’t worry about forgetting anything, the Bathhouse has all the above and more available to purchase!
