How do I schedule an appointment to renew my NYC ID?

To schedule an appointment, click here or call 311 to make an appointment. Do not book more than one appointment per person. If you cannot make it to your scheduled appointment, please cancel, and reschedule for a later date or time. IDNYC card renewals have begun! In general, you may renew your card up to 90 days before it expires, and up to 1 year after it expires. If your card expired more than 1 year ago, you will need to apply for a new IDNYC card at an IDNYC Enrollment Center.
