Who funds NYC Care?
As part of the NYC Care program, New York City’s government is providing $100 million annually to NYC Health + Hospitals to hire more primary care physicians and cover the cost of treating patients, in addition to funding for its outreach campaign. It is available to all New Yorkers who do not qualify for or cannot afford health insurance. You’ll get affordable health care regardless of your immigration status or ability to pay. Pay based on what you can afford. Discounted fees are based on your family size and income and start at $0.With NYC Care, you can: Choose your own primary care provider. Receive preventive care like vaccinations, routine screenings and mammograms to stay healthy. Get mental health support and substance abuse services.
How do I schedule an appointment to renew my NYC ID?
To schedule an appointment, click here or call 311 to make an appointment. Do not book more than one appointment per person. If you cannot make it to your scheduled appointment, please cancel, and reschedule for a later date or time. IDNYC card renewals have begun! In general, you may renew your card up to 90 days before it expires, and up to 1 year after it expires. If your card expired more than 1 year ago, you will need to apply for a new IDNYC card at an IDNYC Enrollment Center.
