How is the service at Ye Olde Bell?
The breakfast was very good and the service at breakfast was very friendly. Our room was very spacious and we liked the traditional decor. There are lots of areas to sit and have a drink and relax. I booked a room on the ground floor and was given a room in a single storey building. Do you do room service? No, but you’re welcome to enjoy your own food and drink or takeaways in your room, or the communal area.When dining at Rules, we appreciate guests adhering to a smart/casual dress code.

It has a turbulent history and was once used for smuggling, connected by a secret tunnel with the nearby Mermaid Inn to the south.
