What is the prettiest place in France?
It’s easy to see why Colmar, located in the heart of Alsace’s wine region, is considered one of France’s most beautiful cities. Colorful houses that look as if they belong in a fairy tale line the Little Venice district, where you can take a boat tour through Colmar’s canals or reach boutiques and eateries on foot. What is the best month to go to France?
The best time to visit France is during spring, from the months of March-May and then fall (September-November). This is the time that temperatures are comfortable along with fewer crowds. Spring and fall are best, with generally comfortable weather — though crowds can be a problem, particularly during holiday weekends and major events (May is worst). April can be a bit damp, and any month can be windy (mistral winds are infamous in Provence).
