What is in a thermal suite?
Thermal Suites are designed to take your body on a journey through a series of wet and dry, warm and cold temperature rooms. These rooms might include saunas, steam rooms, ice fountains, experience showers and heated loungers. Thermal Spa means a pool facility with natural or artificial thermal water with a minimum temperature of 30oC in one basin. The infrastructure requirements are the same as described for “Day Spas”.In the context of a spa, it means that you can use facilities that harness the wellness properties of extreme heat. Spas that offer thermal experiences (or feature what are often called ‘thermal suites’) usually also offer facilities at the other end of the spectrum – namely, ice and cooling water.
What’s in a thermal suite?
Improved circulation: thermal suites often feature various heat-based treatments like saunas and steam rooms, which can help improve blood circulation by causing blood vessels to expand and contract. But the water in thermal baths is not just warm – it is rich in minerals that penetrate deep into the body and have healing effects. These regenerate, stimulate and activate the entire body. The relaxing effect on the muscles also helps to reduce stress and find inner peace.
What to wear to a thermal suite?
Swimwear is required in the Thermal Suite. Residents are required to change into their swimwear in their room and avail of the robe and slippers provided in your room. Non residents will have a robe and slippers provided as well as a locker to store your clothing. Swimwear & Clothing Swimwear should be worn in all public areas. We do not provide footwear and advise that you bring your own for use around the Spa.Swimwear is required in the Thermal Suite. There are lockers and cabins available in the changing rooms to store your belongings while you’re enjoying a soak, but unless you’re wheeling a suitcase, a locker is more than sufficient.
What is a ghost room at a hotel?
A Ghost room is a room that you don’t plan on staying in. You’re just booking it because that room comes with unlimited express passes for each person registered in that room. So the number of people cannot exceed the limit for the room. Your hotel keycard is your pass so you must check in. Room 441, on the fourth floor of the South Tower, is considered the most haunted room in the hotel. A woman has been seen standing or hovering over the bed. She is also known to push or tug on the bed or the covers. At other times, she’s been seen coming in and out of the bathroom.
