Crystal Palace Football Club are pleased to confirm that Woody Johnson’s purchase of Eagle Football’s shareholding in the club has now been completed. Woody joins Chairman Steve Parish, Josh Harris, David Blitzer as a partner and director of the club. Crystal Palace have confirmed that New York Jets owner Woody Johnson has completed his purchase of John Textor’s 43% stake in the club. Johnson has bought the shareholding of Eagle Football Holdings – the multi-club company owned by Textor – in a deal believed to be worth close to £190m.
What is Crystal Palace famous for?
The crystal palace boasted the greatest area of glass ever seen in a building. It astonished visitors with its clear walls and ceilings that did not require interior lights. The area takes its name from the beautiful glass palace it once housed, but was sadly destroyed by fire in 1936. Crystal palace has so much to offer as it boasts independent shops, exciting new eateries and a victorian park full of life-size dinosaur sculptures.
