Who owns Rowhill Grange?
Established in 1994 and still privately owned today, Peter & Deborah Hinchcliffe created the Alexander Hotel Collection, the AHC, with the purchase of Alexander House in Sussex, which joined Rowhill Grange in Kent and Langshott Manor in Surrey. Rowhill Grange Hotel & Utopia Spa was the very first chapter of the Alexander Hotels story. Starting its life with us as our first Utopia Spa with just a few bedrooms above, Rowhill Grange’s history dates back to 1868 when Alice Alexander’s family built her a summer house.

Set in acres of beautiful grounds, Rowhill Grange is a substantial 18th-century manor, and home to a boutique hotel with a fantastic Romanesque spa. RG’s is the restaurant, a symphony in grey with windows all around, conservatory style. The Botleigh Grange Hotel is a beautiful and unique country house with the charm and character one would expect from a 17th century building. The property is set within 14 acres of mature grounds with its own lake.
