As other reviewers have noted, the Thermae Spa is less of a relaxing retreat and more of a busy urban leisure centre, with all of the uncomfortable ‘faff’ one might expect during a half term break. Sorry, Thermae, but the whole experience left me cold. The first thing to note is that spas want their guests to be as comfortable as possible, so non-restrictive garments (such as yoga bottoms, lounge pants, T-shirts, sweatshirts and hoodies) are encouraged at most resorts. Swimwear & Clothing Towel and robe are included in the cost of a Thermae Welcome, treatment, and Spa Package. Swimwear should be worn in all public areas. We do not provide footwear and advise that you bring your own for use around the Spa. Please note that we also have slippers for sale.We recommend you wear something comfortable and easy to remove for your treatments. Lush Spa does not have any facilities such as a sauna or pool, so no need to bring swimwear.
