Champneys /ˈtʃæmpniz/ is an English country house and its associated estate near Tring, Hertfordshire. The mansion is run as a destination spa by a business using Champneys as the brand name for a group of spa resorts and day spas.Champneys is the brand name of a destination spa group, comprising four spa resorts, two hotels and two day spas owned by the Purdew family.
Is Champneys spa good?
From the moment I arrived at Champneys Health Spa, I felt a sense of calm and care. The peaceful surroundings, clean facilities, and friendly staff create the ideal environment for rest and rejuvenation. One standout part of my experience was the amazing service from the Guest Relations team, especially Tilly. Most spas want you to be comfortable and relaxed, so arrive wearing loose, comfortable clothing like gym clothes, yoga pants and t-shirts. Once you are changed, you’ll be spending most of your time in a robe anyway!There are no rules on what you should wear to your spa day, but we recommend something comfortable – you are coming to relax, so you do not need to wear formal attire or anything that may be uncomfortable or restrictive! That goes for your underwear too – comfy is the name of the game here.Is it mandatory to wear a bathing suit? Yes, bathing suits must be worn at all times throughout the Spa Village.Upon your arrival, you’ll be greeted with a fluffy robe to wear during your visit and Champneys flip flops to keep, which means you’ll have all the footwear you need for your time between spa treatments. Obviously for dinner, feel free to dress up and pop on a pair of heels if the mood takes you.
