In our annual survey of thousands of flights passengers gave us their views on everything from cabin cleanliness, to customer service and how easy it was to book. We found that Ryanair came out far worse than most of its rivals – at the bottom of our short-haul table – while Jet2 came out top. EasyJet, in fourth, Ryanair, in third, and Jet2, in fourteenth, all have perfect safety ratings of seven out of seven, meaning that they are very reliable, despite all having somewhat low passenger ratings.With over 3,000 responses on a recent poll I posted, 77% said that easyJet had the best customer service, followed by Ryanair at 15% and Wizz Air at a mere 9%. However, by adding Tui and Jet2 into the mix, easyJet slipped down to third place after Jet2 – who stormed ahead – followed by Tui.Almost 30,000 readers voted in the awards, widely praising Jet2 for its clear contact with passengers, and giving refunds without fuss.
