Is AB rating investment grade?
At the top of the ratings are AAA bonds. U. S. AAA category (effective 6/30/06). Bonds with a B rating are the lowest bonds that are still considered to be of investment grade. Standard & Poor’s and Fitch assign bond credit ratings of AAA, AA, A, BBB, BB, B, CCC, CC, C, D. Currently there are only two companies in the United States with an AAA credit rating: Microsoft and Johnson & Johnson.
