What not to do at hot springs?
Don’t touch any water in or around thermal features. Never swim, soak, or wade in thermal features. More than 20 people have died from intentionally entering or falling into hot springs. Bathing suits and/or swimming attire is required. Natural hot springs minerals are not known to damage bathing suits any differently than chlorine or regular wear does. Consider removing your silver jewelry before soaking. If you don’t, don’t worry.Soaking Etiquette Wear proper swim attire. What to wear at Murrieta Hot Springs?
Be sure to come with sandals, a towel, and a robe for extra comfort. Bring sunscreen and drink plenty of water! Two towels are complimentary per guest, and additional are available to rent. What should I bring when I arrive for the day pass? It’s recommended to bring flip flops, sunscreen, a water bottle, sunglass and a hat. You may bring a towel as well (two are included in a day pass). Don’t worry about forgetting anything, the Bathhouse has all the above and more available to purchase!Pack your swimsuit, a couple of towels, flip-flops, and a water bottle to stay hydrated throughout your visit. Don’t forget sunscreen, sunglasses and a hat! You might want to bring a cozy robe or cover-up for moving between pools.

Do you wear a bathing suit to hot springs?

Don’t: wear ANY clothes or swimsuits in the bathing area; the small towel can be used to cover yourself when out of the water. Some onsen may offer a thin gauze bathing cover-up for women to rent.
