If in doubt as to what’s expected, ask when you book your treatment or spa day.It’s best to wear loose-fitting, dark clothes to the spa, as you might be covered in oils and creams when leaving. Most spas will provide you with a robe, towel, disposable underwear, and slippers or slops – however, they should communicate any clothing that you need to bring with you such as swimwear.The results of a facial spa treatment are clean, exfoliated skin, a refreshed complexion and a youthful glow. What do you wear on a Spa Day?
Swimsuit: Essential for pools, saunas, and hot tubs. Change of Clothes: Comfortable attire for after your treatments or if the spa has a gym, you could bring some spare gym clothes too. Footwear: Easy-to-remove shoes or flip-flops are handy. Hair Ties: To keep your hair out of the way during treatments. Alcohol and smoking are not permitted. The Spa Team reserves the right to refuse access to anyone whose dress or behaviour may disturb or endanger other guests at the spa or surrounding areas. Robes and slippers are provided for use during your visit. It is advisable to wear undergarments beneath your bathrobe.In the SPA area, guests must wear swimwear and slippers suitable for wet and slippery environments. The floor in the spa area may be slippery, so please take care. Long hair must be tied or pinned up. It is recommended not to wear jewellery in the spa area.Spas want their guests to be as comfortable as possible, so if you would prefer to arrive in non-restrictive garments, such as gym wear or lounge wear then that will be absolutely fine. After this, you will change and spend most of your time in a robe anyway.There are no rules on what you should wear to your spa day, but we recommend something comfortable – you are coming to relax, so you do not need to wear formal attire or anything that may be uncomfortable or restrictive! That goes for your underwear too – comfy is the name of the game here.
